This app can be used together with the are you okay today service, a simple, innovative and inexpensive solution that enables children to keep an eye on their senior parents wellbeing.
The most important features of this service are respecting the seniors privacy and using existing devices the senior already uses on a daily bases to detect if they are still active.This app enables seniors to use their Android phone to act like an activity sensor: when the phone is used, the senior is active and thus okay.In order to monitor if the senior is active, this app uses Androids accessibility service.
It detects if the phone is used and when this is the case it generates an activity for are you okay today.
Important to note that it only send out a signal IF the phone is used, not WHAT the user is doing.
